See the America's Cup World Series Yacht Racing aboard SS Shieldhall

SS Shieldhall cruises to see the America's Cup World Series Yacht Racing taking place in the Solent on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July. Both trips depart Berth 48, Dock Gate 4 in Southampton's Eastern Docks at 10.30am, returning at 6pm. Shieldhall will be viewing the racing from the southern end of the course in the official Man-of-War anchorage reserved for vessels exceeding 20 metres. In addition to the racing, aerial entertainment is promised on both days, and on Shieldhall's return to port she will pass close to departing cruise ships, on the Saturday the Celebrity Eclipse and on the Sunday the Britannia, Aurora and Emerald Princess. Expect much tooting of whistles and sounding of sirens as the ships acknowledge one another in time-honoured fashion!

Also marking the Hampshire Food Festival, passengers will be able to enjoy some Flack Manor Double Drop and Romsey Gold real ale on board, together with delicious New Forest ice cream and Caymana's Rum Cakes. Hot and cold food will also be available. A member of the National Historic Fleet, Shieldhall is known for her stability and as such offers a great viewing platform to view the racing. All areas of the ship, from the Engine and Boiler Rooms up to the Bridge, will be accessible once Shieldhall is out at sea.

For tickets, (£45 adults, £10 children) please visit or call 0844 357 2329 (calls cost 7p per minute from landlines).
