Southampton attractions and SS Shieldhall open for Heritage Open Day on Saturday 15th September
A number of heritage organisations in Southampton will be opening their doors free of charge on Saturday 15th September for Heritage Open Day, including SS Shieldhall between 10am – 3pm. Access to the Eastern Docks for the Heritage Open Day is via (free) vintage bus, and there is lots going on, with the opportunity not only to visit the Shieldhall but our neighbours the Vintage Tram workshop and Dunkirk Little Ships Restoration Society. With free taster guided walks, a heritage fayre, a Flower Festival in St. Joseph's Church, a fair at St.Michael's Church, and the opening of Tudor House and Bitterne Local History Museum it promises to be a great day!
