Following on from the DP World open day, local companies around the port were invited aboard for a breakfast meeting “show and tell” about the opportunities to use Shieldhall either alongside or as private hire for corporate events. We now have a number of prospective clients for both activities.

An event management team has been established, with 16 volunteers. A new alongside event safety protocol has been developed, recognising the number of volunteers and organisation structure is very different from our regular training for our passenger certificate. A handbook is being developed which will complement the DSM.
