We are pleased to announce that Steamship Shieldhall will be sailing from Berth 110 for all Southampton passenger sailings for the 2021 sailing season. A car park has been provided at the courtesy of ABP very close to the berth.
Please see the interactive map which shows you where to park your car when you reach the Western Docks. You will see that there is walk of approximately 5 minutes from the car park to the Shieldhall.
When you approach the car park, you will be greeted by a Shieldhall volunteer that will give you directions of where to park. Have any question? Please see our FAQ’s below.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Shieldhall car park a courtesy car park?
The Shieldhall parking area is courtesy of ABP (a huge thank you to their operational team) so there is no charge for parking your car at present.
I can only walk a short distance, can I be dropped off at the ship instead of the passenger car park?
There is an approximate 5 minute walk from the main passenger car park to the Shieldhall berth. Limited blue badge parking will be available next to the ship – if you require this facility, please inform our Ticket Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org. It is also possible to drop off passengers who have difficulty in walking close to the ship, but cars must be returned to the Car Park afterwards if you do not possess a blue badge.
When I get to the car park, how do you want me to park?
Please speak to one of our volunteers that will be marshalling cars. They will tell you where they would like you to park.
- I have a question that is not mentioned in this page. Who do I need to speak to?
