Summary of Executive Committee Meeting held – April 2013
Minutes of the meeting held on 6th February 2013 were approved. The full minutes are available from the Secretary on request.
A new Petty Cash Management policy is now in place. Details from the Treasurer.
We have changed insurance broker and achieved a saving on policy costs.
Donations and pledges to enable us to achieve matched lottery funding are going very well. Information on how to make a donation can be obtained from the Treasurer.
A “Marketing Team” has been created led by John Thompson with external support from Nigel Philpott. Anyone with ideas and suggestions invited to contact John via firstname.lastname@example.org
Graham Mackenzie will be standing down as MD of the Trading Company so that he can concentrate full time on the Lottery project. A replacement is being sought.
A Grand Draw is planned to be held over the summer. Details to follow.
Planning for participation in the Maritime Festival on 5th and 6th May is progressing well. Further detail and offers of help to Sam Dobell or Peter Sheppard.
